Make a Difference in Someone’s Final Chapter Some people feel called to sit with someone at the end of life. It is not something everyone is comfortable with. For the right person, it is deeply meaningful. If that sounds like you, we would love to talk. Whether you have personal experience with hospice or simply want to give back to your community, there is a meaningful role for you on our hospice team. What You’ll Do: * Spend time with patients through conversation, reading, or simply being present * Assist with activities like writing letters, making comfort calls, or light errands * Support families with encouragement and a listening ear * Help behind the scenes with office or administrative projects, if preferred Why Volunteer with Us: * Flexible schedule. Even 1–2 hours a week can make a real difference. * Comprehensive training provided. No prior experience required, just compassion. * Volunteers use our paperless system and apps to track visits. Basic tech comfort is helpful, but full training is provided. * Be part of a supportive team that values and appreciates every volunteer. * See firsthand how your presence can bring comfort and dignity during someone’s final chapter. Requirements: * Opportunities are available for volunteers age 14 and older.
